Extendable to three bikes – full folding function remains intact
The compact 2e+1 Fix4Bike can be flexibly expanded to three bikes if required – without restricting the folding function of the carrier. Unlike many other foldable bike carriers, where a rigid extension rail blocks movement, our system uses two individually positioned additional rails. These are located above the light unit and allow the two wings of the carrier to be fully folded up and down even when the extension is fitted.

The simple solution for a secure carrier connection
Do you own a FIX4BIKE towbar? Then you can use the new, standardised FIX4BIKE interface for mounting.
Benefit from even easier and safer mounting on the towbar! When the bike carrier is placed on the FIX4BIKE towbar, it is automatically locked and aligned both horizontally and vertically. The system is, of course, lockable to the towbar to prevent theft.

Does my bike fit on the carrier?
The wheelbase
Basically, the wheelbase (distance between the axles) of your bike is the decisive factor. The bike carrier has a total width of 1.30 m. If your wheelbase is not less than 1.10 m and not greater than 1.30 m, then the answer is simple: Yes, your bike will fit on the carrier!
The bike carrier was developed especially for e-bikes. Due to a mid-mounted motor, special suspension or the placement of the battery, for example, the wheelbase of these bikes is often significantly larger than that of ‘normal’ bikes. In the version for 2 bikes, we have therefore focused on e-bikes, i.e. a wheelbase of 1.10 m or more. A bike with a wheelbase of less than 1.10 m can of course still be transported using the 3rd extension. The extension rails are adjustable and can therefore be individually adapted to a smaller bike.
Length of the tire straps (40 or 50 cm?)
The bike carrier comes as standard with 40 cm long tyre straps. The decisive factor is the combination of wheelbase, wheel size and tyre width. Depending on the combination of these three features, it may be necessary to switch to the long tyre straps (50 cm).
Our recommendation:
We recommend using the long tyre straps for wheelbases of 1.20 m or more – especially in combination with large tyre profiles.
As a general rule:
You can’t go wrong with the long tyre straps – they offer more leeway and flexibility, especially with larger or wider tyres.
Length of the ratchet strap for the frame (35 or 50 cm?)
We would like to point out that even with e-bikes with intube (integrated) battery, there are usually frame elements that have a small diameter to which you can attach the bike with our ratchet strap in standard length (35 cm). For example, in the area of the seat tube.
The standard frame strap works up to a frame diameter of 80 mm. Beyond that (80+ mm) you need to switch to the long ratchet strap (50 cm).
