The BackCarrier: The Basis of the Back-System.
What is the BackSystem?
First, the BackCarrier, a carrying module, is mounted onto the towbar. Then, various top parts can be used on top of this carrying module:
- BackPower: A bike carrier for 2 bikes, extendable up to 4 bikes
- BackBox: Kind of a roof box, but on the towbar
- BackPack: A multipurpose transportation platform
- BackWork: A basic frame for personal constructions
The BackCarrier convinces with an extremely stable construction and a maximum load capacity of 82,5 kg. To ensure that you always have convenient access to the trunk, a tilt mechanism is integrated into the BackCarrier. By pulling a lever, you can always tilt down the top part.
The extended tilt function on e.g. a VW California or the Mercedes-Benz V-Class by using the 2nd tilt position is not possible with FIX4BIKE!
Please note the following information:
- Only usable with FIX4BIKE towbar.
- Extended tilt function by 2nd tilt position is not possible with FIX4BIKE fastener.
FIX4BIKE

Innovative connection – The fastest way of mounting a carrier.
FIX4BIKE is a towbar with two pins underneath the ball head of the towbar. Our FIX4BIKE compatible products enable a very simple and safe one-click-mounting.
By placing the carrier on the FIX4BIKE towbar it is automatically locked and correctly positioned. A time-consuming “bringing into balance” is no longer necessary.
The system can be locked onto the towbar. Many vehicles are meanwhile equipped with a FIX4BIKE towbar as standard. In addition, FIX4BIKE is also available in the aftermarket and can be installed later on.
