The extension for the third bike is mounted above the light of the BackPower, at the same time a third frame holder is attached to the retaining bar to fasten the bike to the frame.
If using the third frame holder is too inconvenient for you, you could also attach the third bike to the second bike using the double frame holder (item no. 4201). The attachment from frame to frame is equally secure. However, as soon as you expand to 4 bikes, the direct connection of the third bike to the retaining bar is mandatory.
The lock number can be selected to match your other keys. Pay attention to whether you have a key with a black plastic cap or a completely silver key. You will find the locking number either on another key or on the locking cylinder.
The extension increases the weight of the carrier by +3 kg.
